In πΊπππππ ππ πππ πΆπππππ, Barghouthi takes us from the olive grove to the burning street, from the laborer in the fields to the scientist in the laboratory, and from the rifle of a revolutionary to the toy in a childβs hand. An imprisoned freedom fighter and writer, Omar Barghouthi left behind a notebook of poems, protest songs, short stories, and reflections that he compiled between 1976 and 1993.
Translated into English by Nourhane Kazak and with a foreword by Nourhane Kazak and Ben Rejali.
